From the paved road going west from Ramos, pass the first junction with a dirt road on your left as you exit the village, and turn left at the next junction, onto the dirt road going to Stamata beach with the fish farms. Soon the dirt road splits; go right (south).
The trail begins shortly (500m) on the left of the road; in the beginning it is defined clearly by two cairns (corridor).
The descent is smooth enough on rocky terrain, until you reach the miniature but beautiful beach of Alevrakia. From there, it continues ascending to the dirt road, but it is untrod, steep and unclear.
