The route begins at the dirt road behind the beach of Vaghia. Before the junction for Aghios Konstantinos, there is a different junction with a rough dirt road which turns into a trail.
The trail's track is clear as it follows the ravine on the left (north) and ascends between cairns, ending at the hamlet of Vaghia. Pass through the houses and walk parallel to the mountain's contour line next to the cairn.
As you reach the area of Chalara an enjoyable descent starts; on wide slabs, it comes to a stone building above an old mine shaft at Psari Myti cape, at Koutalas bay's eastern entrance.
A clear trail begins on the left of this building, in an imposing milieu of landslides and abandoned porticoes. Right of the building, a very clear trail goes to the gorgeous beach of Vaghia; sadly, it is laden with awful, eternally unfinished tourist buildings.
